Service Description: Precipitation Sensors: are incremental counters that transmit to the base station when 1mm (0.04 inches) of rainfall has fallen. Web page is updated every 5 minutes with cumulative totals for 10-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour, 1 day, 3 day, and 7 day totals.
Stage Sensors: transmit data to the base station based on a predefined change in elevation in the watercourse, lake, or pond. Web page is updated every 5 minutes with the latest data.
Weather Sensors (RH, Temp, Solar Rad, Pressure, Wind Direction, Peak Wind Gust): most transmit data to the base station every 15-minutes but some transmit data every 30-minutes. Due to offsets in transmit intervals website is updated every 5-minutes with latest data transmission. Wind Speed Sensors: these sensors transmit based a predefined wind run (1 km). The difference between transmissions divided by the time between transmissions results in average wind speed over that period of time. The instantaneous wind speed varies up and down over the sample interval. Web page is updated every 5 minutes with the latest data.
